The Worship Ministry is made up of 6 sections, comprising of:
- Singers (Worship Leaders and Backup Singers)
- Musicians
- Projection Team
- Sound Team
- Choir
- Tambourine Ministry
Together, the ministry is called not only to worship the Lord but to facilitate the worship experience; i.e. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the Worship Ministry’s purpose is to magnify the greatness of God in Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit, by skilfully combining God’s Word with music and dance, thereby motivating the congregation to proclaim the gospel, to cherish God’s presence, and to live for God.
In the Acts of the Apostles, we see a profound impact mentioned in Acts 4:13. The presence of Jesus Christ on the disciples resulted in:
- Thankful praise (“A sacrifice of praise”);
- Unashamed witness (“the fruit of lips that confess His name”);
- Compassionate service (“to do good”)
- Generous giving (“to share with others”).
It is our prayer that God’s presence shall not be limited to “a sacrifice of praise” but rather
in all of the above-mentioned aspects. That every member in the team shall not limit themselves to an intention (“wanting to serve”) but rather an action (“a heart that serves”).
